Recently, Mr. Johnstone worked as a Manager in Deloitte & Touche, LLP's Financial Consulting Services (Valuation Practice), participating in the High Technology Industry practice in Southern California. For the years preceding his work at Deloitte, Mr. Johnstone was employed by a venture capital and investment banking firm that performed valuations and damage calculations for securities class action litigation. On occasion Mr. Johnstone provided expert testimony in those cases. In the past, Mr. Johnstone has had long-term consulting assignments to the Kuwait Ministry of Finance on feasibility analyses of public-private investments in high technology companies and for Rebuild LA on Management consulting/business development issues to start-up enterprises in downtown Los Angeles.

Mr. Johnstone was employed Merrill Lynch as a Financial Consultant for several years, for three years as an Analyst in the Due Diligence department of a national securities broker-dealer and as a Senior Tax Consultant by Deloitte & Touche LLP for three years.

Mr. Johnstone received both his Master of Business Administration degree (Finance and Accounting emphasis) and his Bachelor of Science (Finance) from the University of Southern California. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Certified Public Accountant in the State of California (accredited in business valuations). He is also a member of the American Society of Appraisers and the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts.
